The film registered around 40-45 per cent occupancy despite being a non-holiday release.
It collected a whopping Rs 24 crore at the global box office collection on Day 1 of its release.
This is also the fifth-biggest opening day for any Hollywood film in India.
After a strong weekend of Rs 64.80 crore, Thor: Love and Thunder saw a reasonably good hold on Monday, July 11.
The film collected Rs 7.5 to Rs 8.5 crore nett on its first Monday.
The five day total now stands at Rs 72.30 to Rs 73.30 crore, according to early estimates.
