Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor is set to leave the soap again after her brief return to the cobbles

Sally Metcalfe actress is returning to Weatherfield this week after taking time away from the ITV show to appear on Dancing On Ice.

But her return is set to be short-lived. A row with Tim over his mum Elaine will push her to flee the street once again

In new scenes airing next week, Tim will get the all-clear, and he and Sally subsequently get hot and steamy between the sheets.

But Elaine bursts in on them at the wrong moment, causing Tim to vow to throw her out as she is affecting his performance in the bedroom

When he tells Elaine he wants her out, he ends up agreeing to let her stay and even says he will decorate the spare room for her.
