During an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Tuesday, Anne Hathaway’s passionate rendition of a Clarkson hit floored the singer and talk show host — literally.

Hathaway and Clarkson were in the middle of a game of “Sing That Name That Tune,” which required them to quickly identify songs by their instrumentals and start singing them as soon as they recognized them.

Hathaway was leading the game, beating Clarkson to name the Billy Joel classic "Piano Man," as well as Hanson's late '90s hit "MMMBop."

The band then began playing the track for Clarkson’s angsty breakup anthem “Since U Been Gone,” which Hathaway recognized immediately.

“Since you been gone, I can breathe for the first time,” Hathaway sang at the top of her lungs before it registered for Clarkson.

Clarkson collapsed to the floor in defeat as Hathaway belted the lyrics to her early 2000s hit.

Comedian and "American Ninja Warrior" host Matt Iseman, who was hosting the game, joked that Hathaway "will be doing a Kelly Clarkson tribute show in Vegas,” to which Clarkson replied, “Should I just quit?”

“How did you know it from just that?” Clarkson said to Hathaway in disbelief afterward.
