Steve Jobs Childhood

Steve’s father, Paul, was an engineer. In 1957 he also adopted Patricia, who became Steve’s sister. Now his family moved to Monta Loma, near Mountain View.

Paul being a good engineer, could make everything related to equipment. If he needed anything, he would make it. Because of an engineering environment in the family, Steve’s interest started increasing in electronics and engineering.

But, he did not make friends in school life, and he always lived alone. Steve used to get very bored in school, and he used to get involved in mischief.

Seeing this child weak in studies, Teddy, named teacher, started giving some money to learn and remember the things studied in school. Due to this, Steve started doing the best work by working more and more.

In 1967, Jobs’ father put all his savings to buy a house in Los Altos, California. After moving to a new home, Steve couldn’t go to a good college school as he had a very good school nearby.

When Steve Jobs moved with his entire family to Los Altos (California), Steve joined Homestead High School there. This high school was very well connected to Silicon Valley.

Jobs enrolled in their first year at Homestead High School with Bill Fernandez in 1968. Bill introduced him to Steve Wozniak. Wozniak and Jobs became close friends. Later, he founded the Apple company.

Gradually, Steve’s interest in class decreased, and he started keeping his hair long. He started reading literary books in high school, showing little interest in his syllabus. His interest had developed in electronics and literature. In his last year of high school, he had a friend, Wozniak, and Chrisann Brennan’s.

After dropping out of school in 1971, Steve entered Reed College in Portland in 1972. This college was quite expensive, which was difficult to afford for Steve’s parents. After one semester, Steve dropped out of college without informing his parents. After leaving college, he said that he did not want to waste his parents’ money on an education which is of no use to him.

After dropping out of college, he took a course to learn calligraphy. From this calligraphy course, he learned a lot about making fonts look good.

The company made a computer named Apple First and sold many of its units, which gradually started earning. The company went public, and Steve became a millionaire. On 24 January 1984, Steve launched the Macintosh computer.
